ATM giant Diebold Nixdorf called for a worldwide brainstorming effort – called crowdstorming – as a means to innovate and modernize the world of financial and retail self-services. The recent $1.8 billion merger of America’s Diebold and Germany’s Wincor Nixdorf is seeking ways to remain competitive in an increasingly digitalized banking sector.
Through a short video, CEO Andy Mattes encourages the 80,000 members of the Jovoto creative workspace to send their ideas by October 18th with the goal of “rethinking services and consumer touchpoints in the financial industry”. The winners will share a prize pool of $23,500.
