The UK’s new £5 A substrate used in the printing of banknotes, made of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) polymer. Polymer banknotes were first introduced in Australia and are widely used around the world. More note has become the new mascot for charity donations. Triggered by fundraiser John Thompson, social media platforms across the UK are buzzing with talks of charity and which ones their first new Fiver will be donated to.
