Africa is a large continent with a population of over 1.2 billion people spread over 54 countries. It is therefore difficult to get a single picture of what is typical of Africa. By focusing on a handful of countries spread across Africa, this report aims to give a snapshot of the different opportunities and challenges that are being experienced with regard to cash in Africa.

This report, therefore, looks at six countries: Angola, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Zambia. All of them have a very unique relationship with cash.
