Cash Infrastructure

Cash remains the most widely used and accepted payment instrument in Spain despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Younger, older, and rural consumers favour cash in their daily payments.

Under a memorandum signed by the Bank of Lithuania and financial institutions, the number of localities with cash withdrawal facilities is set to double within one year.
