The Future of Cash Conference will take place in Warsaw, Poland, from November 3-5, 2025, bringing together key stakeholders from across the cash community to explore innovative strategies for shaping the future of the cash cycle. This event will unite experts from central banks, financial institutions, retailers, cash management companies, technology providers, and suppliers to address the evolving role of cash in the global economy.

They are calling this initiative, ‘HUMANIA’ but the project name will be confirmed upon launch of the initiative in September 2020.

Despite the scale of the Covid-19 pandemic, the payment system has weathered the storm; no systemic outages of core payments infrastructure have been reported. Payments systems - cash and non-cash - have proved resilient and robust and have continued to enjoy trust from the general public.
